BEVERAGES
The beverages at Slanted Door, from wine to tea to cocktails, are chosen with the same attention as the locally sourced ingredients in the kitchen. Our wine list features estates that grow their grapes organically or biodynamically. The bar has a small selection of high quality liquors - again we have mainly smaller producers making artisanal spirits, instead of highly promoted products.


WINES
The wines on the Slanted Door list have been picked to pair well with the food. The list is in constant evolution; whatever tastes best with our food stays on the list. The wine list is arranged to make food pairing as easy and informative as possible. The lightest wines are at the top of each category, the fullest at the bottom.
You are welcome to bring wine in to the restaurant, however please note that our corkage fees have changed. There is a charge of $35.00 per 750-ml bottle and $65.00 per magnum. We recommend that if you do plan to bring wines that you choose lighter bodied, low-tannin (aged is much better) wines as they will "show" much better with our menu.

BAR
The full bar at The Slanted Door is a relatively new addition.The challenge has been to find products that compliment the established wine and food programs. Interestingly, the style of cocktail that seems to work best at The Slanted Door resembles the wines; cocktails are bright and crisp - balanced by a touch of sweetness. Like the kitchen, the bar at The Slanted Door uses the freshest ingredients and, whenever possible, organic ones. We feature small producers dedicated to quality rather than promotion and advertising.

TEA
Our relationships with two local tea purveyors, Silk Road and Imperial Tea Court, are central to our tea program. Our purveyors hand pick their teas in China. Furthermore, they educate our staff in the traditions of serving and drinking tea.
